Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to support us and gain so much in return.
You may work in the field of health, care or education and have some time to spare, or perhaps you are studying within these fields and wanting to gain more knowledge and experience. Maybe you have lived experience of Down syndrome and have the time and understanding to help support our sessions.
We'd love to hear from you! Email together21@pcp.uk.net to find out more information, and to become a volunteer!
What to expect:
The opportunity to gain experience and knowledge of working with children with Down syndrome

To support our families and their children to improve skills, confidence and self-esteem

Be reliable
Be honest
Respect confidentiality

Hear from our volunteers!

Marg West, Together 21 Volunteer
“It makes me feel good that I’m doing something worthwhile, and contribute to helping others following my retirement from nursing”
“Seeing how the children make progress and the wonderful way that the staff and parents ensure that they achieve as much as possible is fantastic, and I have learned so much about children and their development.”
Victoria Bowman, Together 21 Volunteer & Ambassador
“I joined the project because I wanted to work using sign language and communicating with the kid’s.
I was always interested in speech therapy.”
